As November comes to a close and all of the turkey is near gone…It is wonderful to look back and see the love that has graced our paths. In November we obviously had a record number of weddings with the success of 11-11-11 here at Viva Las Vegas Weddings. It makes me somewhat sentimental as I think back at all of the new beginnings that were celebrated here.

From the staff at Viva Las Vegas Weddings we would like to say thank you for choosing us to help you celebrate your “from this day forward…” Every Bride is beautiful, and it has been wonderful honoring you. A Brooch Bridal Bouquet

I love the creative Bride. Just this last week I saw two more unique Bridal bouquets made by Brides. Why one Bride even made her headpiece from a necklace. I love to see these beautiful accessories as they are so elegantly displayed on these beauties on their special days. You ladies are soooo creative that I could hardley contain myself as I share your masterpieces!

So many Brides have great personalities and are just artsey. I am not artsey in this way so I am always amazed at someone elses creativity. A bit of a Brides personality shines through her wonderful creations and I so admire that. I hope this stirs up the creative Bride in you. Unique Bridal Bouquet

A Silk Bouquet w/ Rhinestones

Lately there have been a few strange happenings at the chapel( really). If you have never been to Viva Las Vegas Weddings I will do my best to paint you a picture. It was originally a motel built back in it’s hey day. This metropolitan area of Las Vegas has alot of history. This was Vegas, before Vegas turned into the mecca that it is today. This half mile of the Las Vegas strip was where everyone, including celebrities used to stay back in the day. Marriage started popping up so frequently, that the owners of the many motels decided to get in on the action and build their own private chapels.

Viva Las Vegas has been privately owned by the same owners for the last twelve years, and has come such a long way. It used to be three floors of themed rooms for rent and now those rooms are offices, a flower shop, tuxedo shop, photo lab and even a costume shop. We have private rooms that are decorated like Graceland and we utilize our special Elvis & Priscilla suite as a hair and makeup studio where Brides can come in prior to their wedding, and have our Glam team do their hair and makeup. We also accomodate full Bridal parties for hair & makeup and serve a light lunch for a great gals bonding experience.

So, back to my story-at closing, staff goes from room to room starting at the third floor to turn off the lights and lock down all of the rooms. However, lately there is one room that the light keeps getting turned back on in. Staff has just assumed someone else had probably gone up and turned the light on, or they thought that perhaps they had forgotten to turn off the lights in their first round of locking down. However, after some talk at the watercooler, we have found that this is not the only strange happening at Viva Las Vegas Weddings. Stay tuned, as I go back this week and interview more employees as to the strange goings on at the chapel. I will forward part II of a Ghost at Viva Las Vegas Weddings by next Thursday.

Busy is the word of the month. July was a rocking hot month here at Viva Las Vegas Weddings. We were rocking out weddings two fold! We had so many hot Brides and Grooms walk through our doors that Elvis could hardly contain himself.
