Time to Book Hot Summer Night Weddings in Las Vegas

Our most romantic evening wedding in our Garden Chapel

Summer weddings are VERY popular here at Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel. Even though Las Vegas is known for its toasty summers, we offer a chilled Main Chapel, and our Outdoor Gazebo and Garden Chapels make for very romantic weddings on a summer night, with a bit of help from our cooling misting system. Plus, you’ll also have the twinkling white lights that create a magical outdoor wedding-scape!

Our most-booked themed weddings for summer include our amazing Egyptian Themed Wedding. Imagine getting married by a pharaoh on the banks of the Nile (or at least near Hoover Dam and the Colorado River!) You can wear cool, exotic costumes, just like in this photo. Rent from our costume shop, or bring your own!

A beach party themed wedding–the bride is carried down the aisle on a surfboard…of course!

Beach Party weddings are also very cool for summer! You can choose a surfer dude minister or our wacky Reverend Rainbow, stuck in a ’60s time warp! And, there are our ever-in-demand Elvis Blue Hawaii Themed Weddings, great for summer weddings and especially wedding vow renewals. Something about the chapel filled with beach fog, palm trees, and a dancing hula girl make the summer night seem tropically breezy. All of our themed weddings include, flowers, photography, DVD and round-trip limo transportation! Very cool!

Visit our website at www.vivalasvegasweddings.com to check out these and all of our amazing outdoor and themed wedding options. Or, give our friendly staff members a call at 702-384-0771 to find out more! Vegas summer weddings are right around the corner!

Getting Married by Mini Elvis—PLUS Showgirls, a Drunken Pirate and a Guy in a Kilt….

Wacky Vegas Wedding with mini Elvis
Caitlin and Michal of Australia tie the knot in Vegas in the wackiest wedding of the week!

Like we always say at Viva Las Vegas Weddings, “If you don’t see a wedding you like, we’ll customize one for you!” So Caitlin and Michal and a large group of their mates (all the way from Australia) celebrated their marriage with a mini-Elvis minister, two showgirls dancing to “Viva Las Vegas” and a drunken pirate. The best man, from Dublin, Ireland, donned his kilt and somehow fit right in.

According to the bride and groom, their “real” wedding will be held early next year in Australia. This was just a fun “practice” wedding, part of a pre-wedding celebration in Las Vegas. The group will also be “doing” Sin City and visiting San Francisco and the California coast. It’s good to squeeze as much in as you can, after a long trip halfway ’round the world!

Mini Elvis minister and showgirl– the perfect complement to a Pirate Themed Wedding?

These “fun” weddings or wedding vow renewals do not require a marriage license, since they are not meant to be full-on legal wedding ceremonies. It’s a good way to engage in a totally unique romp, just to celebrate your love for one another in a spectacular way. Sometimes multiple couples who are close friends choose to renew their vows as a group in the craziest wedding ceremony they can put together. Need ideas to do this kind of thing yourself? Visit us at www.vivalasvegasweddings.com If you don’t see anything crazy enough for you, you’ll find our phone number and a staff member waiting to talk or live chat with you. We’ll create a custom package that you’ll never forget! Viva Las Vegas, baby!

Best wishes to Caitlin and Michal for a sedate and elegant “normal” wedding in the near future. Enjoy your travels, mateys! 🙂 BTW, we also do elegant, traditional weddings at Viva Las Vegas Weddings!

Elvis Blue Hawaii Wedding Bride Dances the Hula for Her Groom

Elvis Blue Hawaii Wedding Bride
Who knew these two would marry in an Elvis Blue Hawaii Wedding that brought us to tears?

Earlier this month, Kevin and Lahapa brought the islands with them from Hawaii to celebrate their marriage in an Elvis Blue Hawaii wedding ceremony in our Main Chapel. (No pressure, Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel staff…) The place was filled with the fragrance of fresh orchid and plumeria leis, and with the spirit of ALOHA, of course! The couple chose to upgrade their wedding with a first dance and many other custom features. But the most heartwarming addition was the bride’s hula for her groom. We don’t think there was a face without a smile or tears. Have a look at this lovely moment, the highlight of the Hawaiian wedding:

Weddings in Vegas: What Happens After the Kiss!

Vegas Wedding Kiss

Once the vows are said at a Viva Las Vegas wedding, most couples will glide right back down the aisle in all their married glory. If the ceremony involves Elvis or a glitzy themed impersonator, bride and groom also cut a rug while being serenaded in the height of Vegas style. A few especially exuberant couples, however, burst into a dance number from their favorite musical. No matter how under-rehearsed, this is a sure-fire way to get the party started, or at least to dumbfound friends and family watching on the Internet.

Just give us a little advance warning, and we’ll cue your music after you’ve sealed your vows with a kiss. (You bring the choreography and dancing guests. Or? We may be able to accommodate you with a few willing participants on our staff.) At Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel, we’re here to make your wedding day YOURS alone, even if that means you’re doing the singing and dancing and Elvis is playing back-up.

Zaniest Las Vegas Bachelor Party EVER

Bachelor Party Fashion Disaster
Fashion Police Have Been Called
Even if you’re not getting married in Las Vegas, it’s by far the best place on Earth to host a bachelor or bachelorette party. Sami and Graham can vouch for that. Their group of mates came all the way from the UK to launch the festivities in outrageous fashion with a faux (let’s call it “practice”) Elvis wedding ceremony at the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel. WHY haven’t WE thought of this? Judging from this ceremony, EVERYONE SHOULD DO IT! Best of all, these guys will have photos and DVD as evidence of the whole thing, which we’re pretty sure they’ll never remember otherwise…

Sami stood in as the bride, looking fetching in white lace gown and platinum bob. Graham, the groom, wore some kind of Western wear and a fake mustache, most of the time, until it finally landed in the aisle during the commotion that the honored guests probably called dancing. The celebrants wore a wide array of eye-stinging fashions. Any blokes present who may not already be married will likely remain bachelors until they get an emergency fashion intervention.

We have no idea where this party went after the “wedding,” but suffice it to say, they definitely made an impression on Sin City. We think. Las Vegas also may be the only place on Earth where you can dress like this and more or less blend in.
