Viva Las Vegas Weddings’ General Manager (and Elvis), Brian, Named in Top 100 Men of Success!

Elvis weddings Vegas
Brian is not only successful in the Elvis wedding business, but has done his part making thousands of successful marriages a reality!

Our very own Viva Las Vegas Weddings General Manager, Brian–most recognized around here as Elvis, a Bluez Brother, a Beatle, a Gangster, a Pharaoh, a Starship Captain, Darth Vader, a Wizard,”Johnny Cash,” a Pirate, a Viking–has been given the tremendous honor of being named one of Las Vegas’ Top 100 Men of Success by!

This happened several weeks back, but Brian’s award has been modestly buried on his desk until co-workers pried the scoop out of him. Readers of MyVegasMagazine nominated and voted on men that are making a difference in Las Vegas through service, commitment, charitable contributions and big, big hearts. According to the magazine, nominees included men who “give more than they receive.” Importantly, too, the men nominated were those who help make Las Vegas a fascinating place to live and work. And Brian truly does just that! Other nominees came from the worlds of gaming, finance, politics, entertainment, the arts and government.

As with everyone here at Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel, Brian spends countless hours helping making weddings run as smoothly as possible, going the extra mile to customize and add the talent, fun, and quirky elements that are the reason people come to get married in Las Vegas. Brian brings creative and unexpected touches to every ceremony, making sure your weddings and receptions are unforgettable. Somehow Brian makes it look easy, but he very seldom rests.

Which is why we’re tooting his horn a bit, too! Congratulations to Brian for this well-deserved award. We’re pretty sure he’s earned it 100 times over!

Thumbs up and a pat on the back to the genius behind Viva Las Vegas Weddings! And, BTW, Ron is the second Beatle from the left…)

“Awesome themed weddings!”
Reviewed October 21, 2014
We were married here 2014Oct10. We decided on a Star Wars themed ceremony. Us, our kids and grandkids are big Star War fans. What a blast! Darth Vader married us and he was perfect. Our teenagers were dressed as Princess Leia and Jedi’s, my new husband was a Jedi and I wore my oldest daughters wedding dress. Which had special meaning to me. We had a dinner reception and they offered us the Elvis and Priscilla room (previously a honeymoon suite) to dine in. Well of course we then had Elvis come up and sing for us. Our guests had no idea about our theme or Elvis and they loved it. Smiles and laughs from all. Elvis/Darth you are fantastic. We had 2 limos pick us all up at the hotel we were at, 15 of us total. I checked with the chapel and they advised it was fine to bring our own bottled water in the limo and chapel. When we arrived the front desk staff and our coordinator were all so kind. And it was smooth. I was in awe finally being there after watching previous live web cams of people being married there. Thank you Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel for making my dreams of a Vegas wedding come true. We could not of asked for anything more. It was perfect.

So…Suit up, outer space fans! See you at the Starship Viva!

What to Expect at Your Viva Las Vegas Wedding

Viva Las Vegas Wedding
The one that didn’t get away! Making sure your day is just right is important to us.

At Viva Las Vegas Weddings, we’re always trying to produce the wedding of your dreams. We are absolutely ecstatic when we read some of our great wedding chapel reviews on Tripadvisor and other sites. But, sometimes couples make comments about things that were not quite right or that disappointed them in some way, and we try to learn from those and do better.

Little disappointments happen sometimes, though, and many seem to be when brides and grooms aren’t quite sure what to expect. We hope that if they know a little more in advance, they’ll be able to help us make their day even better by expressing concerns or asking questions.

Here are a few of the most common concerns, with suggestions to help with planning your perfect Las Vegas wedding.

1. Some couples find the ceremonies to be too short. Depending on the package you choose (and whether songs by Elvis or other performers are involved) your actual ceremony will run from eight to about 16 minutes. Your ceremony has a 30-minute time frame, but that includes your mini-rehearsal with your wedding coordinator, and a photo shoot afterward with our photographer. We do our best not to make you feel rushed. That’s usually not hard, since we have weddings down to a science and most run very smoothly. If you have a simple traditional ceremony, and you’d like it to be a little longer, feel free to read vows to each other, or add a candle lighting, song, or first dance. Our staff will be happy to discuss options with you ahead of time. On the whole, most couples are very happy with the time frame, especially…for some reason…the grooms. 😉

2. If your wedding will be seen streaming live online, be sure to tell your friends and family to call the chapel immediately if the streaming is not working. This is a rare mishap, but often easily corrected if there’s a problem. As we all know, technology can let us down sometimes, but we’ll do everything in our power to make sure that doesn’t happen.

3. Most wedding packages include photography and some photos. Some pictures ceremony candids, some are formally posed in the chapel, and some are taken outside afterward. Flash photography is used for the most part, but our photographers vary it a little, sometimes using ambient/natural light. Visit our website and click on “order photos” to get an idea of what your pictures will be like. We are one of few chapels in Las Vegas that will allow your guests to take photos from their seats during the ceremony. But, for posed shots in the chapel after the wedding, our photographer has a private session and no other pictures may be taken. (Note: We also may be the only wedding chapel in Las Vegas where you can hire and bring in your own photographer instead of using our house photographer. There is a fee involved for this, though, since our own photographer will still be hard at work videotaping and running lights, music and sound for your wedding. Ask our friendly staff about bringing in your own photographer at the time you book your wedding.)

4. If your wedding package includes limousine service, it’s important to be on time meeting your “ride” at the designated spot outside your hotel. We try very hard to keep our weddings on time, especially when family and friends will be watching live on the internet, so punctuality is very important all along the line. For example, if your wedding time is 6pm, we need to have you there and ready to go by then, since it is more than likely that someone will be getting married at 6:30, too! Lateness causes some uncomfortable juggling, which we really try to avoid. That said, things do come up, but communication and timeliness are what we strive for. After all, it’s your wedding day!

Any other questions or concerns? Let us know how to help. 702-384-0771 We want you to feel confident ahead of time that your day will be just right, and your wedding uniquely YOU.

Best Wedding Chapel in Nevada!

Best Wedding Chapel in Nevada
Trying to be the best at what we do, two customers at a time!

When Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel was named Best Wedding Chapel in Nevada by Nevada Magazine this week, we were simply blown away. (So blown away that we are blowing own horn–a little bit–here.) We always strive to deserve the honor of this kind of recognition, because we want our brides and grooms to be honored with the best wedding possible in Las Vegas.

Thanks to all of you who have expressed your kind appreciation to us in person, and on travel review websites. This means a lot to us, and to all the couples who are trying to find just the right venue for their special day when getting married in Las Vegas. Your words and descriptions help them out, and what you write also helps us to get better. When we’re not perfect, we want to know. Generally we will do whatever it takes to get your wedding right….Even if it means TWO Elvis’s….or more!

We want to share a review with you that not only makes us beam with pride, but we think it describes the most wonderful creative surprise one of our wedding couples has ever dreamed up. Your joy, your love, and your incredibly inventive wedding ideas make us want to do better, too! Enjoy this lovely story from one of our Viva Las Vegas weddings—shared from TripAdvisor:

“2 Elvis’s for this Bride!”
Reviewed March 2, 2014
My husband and I were just married here on Feb 25th. Viva provided a limo from our hotel to the chapel, the driver was polite and very helpful getting all of us in and out of the limo. Once we arrived the staff was accommodating to us and our guests but they were also hiding a little secret from me! My Dad flew in from NJ to surprise me. The staff at Viva helped him plan his grand entrance as my 2nd Elvis! My 1st Elvis had a great voice and was just plain fun to have as
part of our ceremony. The photographer took a ton of pictures. And the best part was our friends and family at home were able to see us get married live through Viva’s live streaming feed onto our very own Wedding Website. Everything was perfect! You couldn’t have a happier bride and groom! I can’t wait to renew our vows here for our 20th!

We DO hope to see this couple in 20 years! And we hope we’ll still deserve to be the Best in Nevada! Our thanks to everyone who has helped to make this award possible for us. 🙂

Blushing Las Vegas Brides– We’re Blushing, Too! Fun and Affordable Las Vegas Weddings

Reviews of Vegas Wedding Chapels
Reviews are a good way to know if one of our Las Vegas wedding packages is right for you!

We’re well into a new year, so we thought it would be a good idea to check some recent reviews of how we’re doing so far at Viva Las Vegas Weddings, according to the brides and grooms who’ve tied the knot with us in 2014. We like to see what we’re doing right, what we can improve upon, and what our weddings are like through YOUR eyes. Thanks to your kind words, we are humbled. But we also think YOUR experiences are the best way for our future couples to decide if this is the place for them to marry, or to renew their vows. So, here goes! A few happy wedding reviews for 2014 from

“Great Elvis Vow Renewal, Priceless Memories!”
Reviewed February 12, 2014
My husband and I renewed our vows at the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel on June 16, 2013. I booked the service months in advance and I’m sure that the staff there were tired of me and my many phone calls and emails with questions. Its difficult to plan something like this from so far away and never seeing the venue or talking to someone face to face. Needless to say, all of our requests were met and our 15th anniversary was exactly as I had planned. We had White Jumpsuit Elvis (loved it!) and I got to walk down the aisle to Suspicious Minds… and we even had a conga line! The staff were courteous and friendly, transportation was provided and Melanie was so friendly, my flowers were beautiful, and our families in Canada and Scotland were able to be a part of the fun with the live video streaming. I would recommend Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel to anyone looking for a fun way to celebrate the beginning of your lives together or to renew your vows in a memorable way. Thank you Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel for making our day amazing!

“Stress free”
Reviewed January 23, 2014
Having been with my partner for over 20yrs, we decided to finally tie the knot. So done my research and decided to combine a holiday with a few family members that we wanted with us. No fuss ,stress or tantrums trying to please others on OUR day. We got exactly what we wanted. Evening ,outside in the fantastic weather….It was beautiful without the frills & fuss.
The ease of exchanging emails & live chat was great. All our questions were answered so quickly. The female Reverend we requested ,we got and she was a diamond. Turns out she is from England and just made us feel like we had known her for a while.
Would say to anyone who is looking to get married in Vegas , look at this Chapel.Live video link is a must for those who can’t make the trip.If you want perfection you will never get it even staying at home and spending £30k plus !!!!! Can honestly say it was perfect for us .Mike our driver & Olivia our co-ordinator were great.

We made our childhood dreams come true and got married by “Elvis the Pelvis” himself – he´s alive, working as a minister at Viva Las Vegas Weddings.
Not everything that happens in Vegas stayes in Vegas! Friends from all over the world could be part of this funfunfun but also romantic and ceremony via webcam!
Photographer and Elvis work great together as a team and knew how to put us into a good light.
Our pink caddillac driver was a local since decades and could tell us interesting background storys about the strip casinos.
All toghether a worthy unforgettable wedding.

“Elvis and the Pink Caddy wedding…soooo much fun!”
Reviewed February 6, 2014
My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary at the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel and renewed our vows. It was a blast! We did the pink caddy wedding package where Elvis drives you into the chapel, and they had the fog machine going and music. It was so exciting! We danced to Elvis singing, who was great by the way. He made the ceremony so much fun! The package is worth the money with the extra fun it brings and your name in lights on the marquee! Everyone was very friendly and professional and it was a great experience. Our guests are still talking about it!

Wow! Humbling, Great Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel Reviews on Yelp

Las Vegas Wedding Chapel Reviews
We were thrilled that we made this couple extra happy on the happiest day of their lives!

At the start of a New Year, we like to take a peek to see how we are doing from the perspective of our wedded guests. It helps us see what we are doing right, and what we might still improve on. Heck, some of these reviews are so amazingly detailed that we can tell things like who among our staff might just have been having a bad day. But, we felt really honored to see our 4.5-star review on Yelp! And we were especially pleased to see mostly five-star ratings and happy, happy couples.

Because you describe your experience in a way that we can’t, we’ll share an honestly wonderful review from Yelp. If you are planning a wedding in Las Vegas in the coming New Year, please check the site for descriptions from many other wedding couples. We think reviews are really the best way to help you know for sure that Viva Las Vegas Chapel is the perfect place for your unique and very special Vegas wedding.

Burbank, CA

Ok, since I grew up in Las Vegas, the last thing I wanted was a typical Las Vegas Wedding, however, with my family unable to travel very far and since we were on a tight budget already with our unique wedding, we really didn’t have much of an option.

With that said, my Husband and I are SUPER happy we went with this chapel! We had an Addams Family themed wedding on Halloween this year, and it was EPIC thanks to this chapel! I think one of the things that makes this chapel awesome, is that they are all about “the show.” Everyone is extremely friendly (not pushy or sales-y), and they are open and willing to customize your package. We were told from the beginning that they could do any kind of theme our little hearts desired (except nudity, lol).

Naturally, we went with the Gothic package complete with fog, lighting effects, and the whole nine yards! The best part of the ceremony was our officiant: the Grimm Reaper. As the Bride, I did not mind one bit when he stole the show, lol! He really made the ceremony extra special! We really weren’t expecting much, but holy cow, did he deliver!

Everything about this chapel is amazing! It is also the only chapel that allows your guests to take pictures during the ceremony and they even have an option for you to bring your own photographer if you like, (you do have to pay a fee, but it is very reasonable). In case you don’t think this detail is very important, consider this: My Mother got married at another chapel downtown where they did not allow any outside photography of any kind, only theirs. Which seemed OK at first, but not when they fired the photographer before he uploaded the pictures of my Mother’s wedding! So there you have it, she paid all that money and to this day she has never seen pictures of the ceremony. ANYWAYS, my point is that for this chapel to allow outside photography is a big deal….pretty much no other chapel in Vegas offers that (we checked).

Another perk is that you can have the ceremony streamed live and archived for 90 days. Pretty awesome considering we had a lot of family and friends who could not make it out…so it was extra special for them to still be able to see it. It is also pretty neat that we can share the video on the web with everyone!

I will say that we never get tired of hearing “that was the best wedding we’ve ever been to!” — even our wedding photographer said the same, and imagine how many weddings she sees per year! I’d say Mission Accomplished!

We really want to send a big THANK YOU to the staff of Viva Las Vegas for making our wedding the most epic night of our lives!
