If you want a formal wedding in Las Vegas, traditional, but not EXACTLY, you can’t go wrong with our James Bond 007 wedding ceremony! It’s sexy and sophisticated, perfect for a tuxedo-and-sexy-gown wedding, but it has a theatrical edge and uniqueness that you will find no where else on the planet!
After “M” gives instructions via the Internet, Bond makes a spectacular sports car entrance right down the chapel aisle flanked by two Bond Girls and enveloped in fog. During the ceremony, one Bond Girl sings live (“Diamonds are Forever”) during the ring exchange, just before the candle lighting portion of the ceremony. You’ll have Bond themed music throughout, flowers, photography, and round trip limo transportation from your Las Vegas hotel, all included in the spectacular package. For those who can’t make it to Vegas to attend your memorable Bond wedding, live streaming internet coverage is available, too! It could be the epic spy adventure/wedding seen ’round the world!

We’ll work with you on all the details of your mission. Viva Las Vegas!
Our very own Viva Las Vegas Weddings General Manager, Brian–most recognized around here as Elvis, a Bluez Brother, a Beatle, a Gangster, a Pharaoh, a Starship Captain, Darth Vader, a Wizard,”Johnny Cash,” a Pirate, a Viking–has been given the tremendous honor of being named one of Las Vegas’ Top 100 Men of Success by MyVegasMagazine.com!
This happened several weeks back, but Brian’s award has been modestly buried on his desk until co-workers pried the scoop out of him. Readers of MyVegasMagazine nominated and voted on men that are making a difference in Las Vegas through service, commitment, charitable contributions and big, big hearts. According to the magazine, nominees included men who “give more than they receive.” Importantly, too, the men nominated were those who help make Las Vegas a fascinating place to live and work. And Brian truly does just that! Other nominees came from the worlds of gaming, finance, politics, entertainment, the arts and government.
As with everyone here at Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel, Brian spends countless hours helping making weddings run as smoothly as possible, going the extra mile to customize and add the talent, fun, and quirky elements that are the reason people come to get married in Las Vegas. Brian brings creative and unexpected touches to every ceremony, making sure your weddings and receptions are unforgettable. Somehow Brian makes it look easy, but he very seldom rests.
(Note: Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel owner Ron Decar made this list as well! Again, this guy is so humble that he never brought it up around us, either. Come on, you guys! Thumbs up and a pat on the back to the genius behind Viva Las Vegas Weddings! And, BTW, Ron is the second Beatle from the left…)
If you’re fans of The Big Bang Theory gang, as we are, you might be up for getting married in Las Vegas by Darth Vader, Spock, or any other characters from your favorite science fiction or comic book fantasy. You and your intended can play roles and come in costume, or leave it to us to provide your favorite impersonator minister and whatever miscellaneous characters you’d like to complete your perfect sci-fi themed wedding. We’ll set up the soundtrack, adding costumes, lighting, smoke effects and special vows tied into your chosen theme. We can even customize flowers to make them futuristic. We’ve even had Elvis make an appearance in space, by special request. There are no limits to your imagination in the Viva Las Vegas universe!

“Awesome themed weddings!”

We were married here 2014Oct10. We decided on a Star Wars themed ceremony. Us, our kids and grandkids are big Star War fans. What a blast! Darth Vader married us and he was perfect. Our teenagers were dressed as Princess Leia and Jedi’s, my new husband was a Jedi and I wore my oldest daughters wedding dress. Which had special meaning to me. We had a dinner reception and they offered us the Elvis and Priscilla room (previously a honeymoon suite) to dine in. Well of course we then had Elvis come up and sing for us. Our guests had no idea about our theme or Elvis and they loved it. Smiles and laughs from all. Elvis/Darth you are fantastic. We had 2 limos pick us all up at the hotel we were at, 15 of us total. I checked with the chapel and they advised it was fine to bring our own bottled water in the limo and chapel. When we arrived the front desk staff and our coordinator were all so kind. And it was smooth. I was in awe finally being there after watching previous live web cams of people being married there. Thank you Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel for making my dreams of a Vegas wedding come true. We could not of asked for anything more. It was perfect.”

Since Las Vegas has over 300 days of sunshine and temperate winter and spring weather, our outdoor Viva Las Vegas weddings can take place in a variety of gorgeous and very picturesque settings. Besides our beautiful Outdoor Gazebo and Garden chapels, you can even be married by Elvis in front of the iconic Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign! But couples who really love to be out in the pristine solitude of nature can also be married at the stunning Red Rock Canyon, just outside the city. Our Beautiful Red Rock Canyon Wedding package includes round trip limo transportation to the site, all photography, videography, flowers, the works. Our staff and minister will meet you there for your ceremony. If you have only a small wedding party (6 or fewer guests), they may accompany you in the limousine, or they may choose to follow behind in their own vehicles. (Or, we can provide extra limo transport, by request.) It’s an unforgettable setting, and we make it easy.
We can perform your Red Rock Canyon wedding ceremony at any time of the day, but many brides and grooms like to time it for sunset or just before, to take advantage of the flattering light and flaming red vistas. Our Viva Las Vegas staff are really great about helping you plan the timing and all the details, so all you have to do is meet the limo. Here’s a recent review of our Red Rock wedding package from TripAdvisor, to give you a better idea of what to expect:

We had a great experience with Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel. The Limo picked us up at the Vdara early, and we drove 30 minutes to Red Rock Canyon. Our “Best Woman” also accompanied us in the Limo. Everyone was very polite, the Limo Driver, Photographer, and Minister. The ceremony was beautiful, and the backdrop of Red Rock Canyon was stunning. I would definitely recommend Red Rock if your budget permits as it will add beautiful memories to your special day. Thank you Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel for making our once in a lifetime wedding ceremony a beautiful reality! :>)

If you’ve EVER booked a Las Vegas wedding with us, chances are good that you’ve e-chatted, emailed or in some way communicated with our caring and bubbly wedding planner, Shannon. Shannon has been with us since even before the bricks-and-mortar Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel became a reality. You’ll be able to tell right away that she knows our Elvis, Themed and Traditional wedding packages inside out! Shannon can answer any question, and she’s able to make lots of wonderfully creative suggestions for your special day. You can actually “hear” her stunning smile over the phone and in her emails! Even better, she’s got the most amazing advice on making your wedding ceremony in Las Vegas a perfect representation of who you are as a couple.
As with many of our staff members, Shannon comes from an entertainment background. Because of her experiences in show business, she knows how to arrange a wedding that is a flawless “production,” one where couples can make all the choices to customize our many fun and varied wedding packages. We thought you might like to know a little bit about Shannon, since most of you won’t be lucky enough to meet her in person. Shannon works for Viva from her home in Lexington, South Carolina, since moving from Las Vegas to marry and start a family.
We asked Shannon to share a bit about herself and how she came to work for Viva Las Vegas Weddings:
“I was dancing professionally in LA when I decided to move to Vegas to see what work was available there. Luckily for me, I landed a spot as a dancer in the Siegfried and Roy Show at the Mirage. During that time, I met an Elvis impersonator, Ron DeCar, who was then performing Elvis weddings at various chapels on the Las Vegas Strip. In the beginning, we were both focusing on the wedding business during the day, but by night I’d dance with Siegfried and Roy, and Ron sang and emceed in the Folies Bergere at the Tropicana Hotel. Looking back on those days, I feel honored to have helped start a wedding business that has grown from 10 weddings a week to over 400 a month!”
Shannon continues, “I’ve worked for Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel for almost 17 years now. When I lived in Las Vegas, I was a wedding coordinator and a reception planner. I even performed in the weddings as a hula girl, showgirl, James Bond girl– I was even a singing waitress for a Gangster wedding! But, darn it, I never had the opportunity to be the first female Elvis! I moved to South Carolina 10 years ago, but even from across the country, I’m still able to continue on this wonderful journey with Viva. My duties here include answering chapel emails and reserving all the wedding bookings that come in through our website.”
Asked about the best part of her job, Shannon says, “I love being able to interact with thousands of people from all over the world. They all have one thing in common, and that is to either get married or to renew their vows. So there’s a lot of thought and love behind every email I receive.”
On the flip side, though, Shannon describes the downside of her job this way: “Since I build relationships with many brides and grooms via email–sometimes planning up to a year in advance– it’s SO disappointing that we will not be able to meet in person. But, I’m grateful to be able to view their ceremony via the webcam, and to see their photos afterward. It’s SO great to put names to faces. Sometimes I even receive thank you letters that people have taken the time to write. I’m glad that I was a part of their wonderful experience at Viva Las Vegas!”
Shannon’s best advice on a Las Vegas wedding? “Plan it together! Both parties need to be involved and make decisions together. Who’s in the wedding party? What color are the flowers? What music will be played? What is important to the both of you that we might incorporate into your ceremony?” Shannon adds a few words of caution, though, based on her experiences: “Las Vegas is a crazy place where you can become sidetracked very easily! Save the drinks for AFTER the ceremony!” That said, once your unforgettable Viva Las Vegas wedding is over, Las Vegas is the BEST city to celebrate your vows.
If you’re planning a wedding and have questions about our many packages seen at www.vivalasvegasweddings.com, don’t hesitate to email our lovely and patient staffer, Shannon.
