Meet Jessica: Viva Las Vegas Weddings’ Social Media Diva from SWEDEN!

Jessica at Viva Las Vegas Weddings
Just arrived from snowy Sweden, Jessica is now happily sporting a new tatt–and sleeveless dresses– in Las Vegas!

Ja, we had to go all the way to Sweden to find our newest staff member, Jessica, a specialist in social media. She’s also a huge fan of Las Vegas weddings–Elvis weddings in particular! Jessica first began her university studies in International Tourism, but after being involved with her best friend’s wedding, she discovered she had a natural fondness for the wedding business. Jessica says, “I just loved the general happiness that surrounds weddings.”

Jess continues, “I once met a woman who had been married many times, but in her late 50’s got married again. She said she was in love for the very first time. I get a warm and fuzzy feeling in my heart when I hear things like that. I’m a sucker for romance and happy endings.”

After preparing for a bright future in weddings and tourism, Jessica began to apply for work abroad. The Viva management team was so impressed by Jessica’s spirit and enthusiasm that she was invited to join our staff. She set out on a new adventure, not only to a new country, but to a world full of brides, grooms, Elvis’s and crazy, imaginative themed wedding ceremonies.

Jessica says that her first few weeks at the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel made her feel like she had arrived on a movie set. “Such beautiful people, gorgeous gowns and costumes! Plus the fog and lights, music and cameras everywhere. It’s just like Hollywood for some of the weddings!”

Jessica’s fancy “shoe selfie” at the San Francisco airport, on her way to Vegas, baby!

Jessica may be missing the aurora borealis sweeping across winter’s night sky, but she’s thrilled to be around the lights of the Las Vegas Strip. What’s more, she’s now promoting the fantastic theatrical lights and sounds of our wedding receptions and dinner theater-style productions at our new Viva Las Vegas Event Center, right next door. “Double the glitz and double the glamour of your usual wedding chapel on the Strip!” 🙂

Jessica encourages any couple thinking of an affordable wedding in Las Vegas to: “Please follow me, Viva Las Vegas Weddings and the Viva Las Vegas Event Center on Twitter and Instagram. You’ll get all the news, entertainment and goings-on at the chapel. I KNOW that this is THE BEST wedding chapel in Las Vegas, and I want the rest of the world to know it too. If you want to get married in Vegas – there is only one place to look – VIVA LAS VEGAS Wedding Chapel!”

“Follow my Instagram and Twitter at VLVJess and you’ll get to know me 🙂 I love music – especially Kiss, but anything from Metallica to Frank Sinatra is frequently on my Spotify. By the way, I am still hoping to find my own Mr. Right. (Oh dear, that’s the one thing we don’t provide at Viva Las Vegas—the groom!) I am known for my RED/ORANGE hair, and I’m always able to find good things in each day.”

We think we’ve found a good thing in Jessica. And, if you’re lucky enough to chat with her online or by phone, we think you’ll agree. Be sure to say “Hej!” (“hello” in Swedish….pronounced “hey!”)
Skål, y’all!

Reviews of Vegas Wedding Chapels
Reviews are a good way to know if one of our Las Vegas wedding packages is right for you!

We’re well into a new year, so we thought it would be a good idea to check some recent reviews of how we’re doing so far at Viva Las Vegas Weddings, according to the brides and grooms who’ve tied the knot with us in 2014. We like to see what we’re doing right, what we can improve upon, and what our weddings are like through YOUR eyes. Thanks to your kind words, we are humbled. But we also think YOUR experiences are the best way for our future couples to decide if this is the place for them to marry, or to renew their vows. So, here goes! A few happy wedding reviews for 2014 from

“Great Elvis Vow Renewal, Priceless Memories!”
Reviewed February 12, 2014
My husband and I renewed our vows at the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel on June 16, 2013. I booked the service months in advance and I’m sure that the staff there were tired of me and my many phone calls and emails with questions. Its difficult to plan something like this from so far away and never seeing the venue or talking to someone face to face. Needless to say, all of our requests were met and our 15th anniversary was exactly as I had planned. We had White Jumpsuit Elvis (loved it!) and I got to walk down the aisle to Suspicious Minds… and we even had a conga line! The staff were courteous and friendly, transportation was provided and Melanie was so friendly, my flowers were beautiful, and our families in Canada and Scotland were able to be a part of the fun with the live video streaming. I would recommend Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel to anyone looking for a fun way to celebrate the beginning of your lives together or to renew your vows in a memorable way. Thank you Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel for making our day amazing!

“Stress free”
Reviewed January 23, 2014
Having been with my partner for over 20yrs, we decided to finally tie the knot. So done my research and decided to combine a holiday with a few family members that we wanted with us. No fuss ,stress or tantrums trying to please others on OUR day. We got exactly what we wanted. Evening ,outside in the fantastic weather….It was beautiful without the frills & fuss.
The ease of exchanging emails & live chat was great. All our questions were answered so quickly. The female Reverend we requested ,we got and she was a diamond. Turns out she is from England and just made us feel like we had known her for a while.
Would say to anyone who is looking to get married in Vegas , look at this Chapel.Live video link is a must for those who can’t make the trip.If you want perfection you will never get it even staying at home and spending £30k plus !!!!! Can honestly say it was perfect for us .Mike our driver & Olivia our co-ordinator were great.

“Love me tender”
Reviewed February 13, 2014
We made our childhood dreams come true and got married by “Elvis the Pelvis” himself – he´s alive, working as a minister at Viva Las Vegas Weddings.
Not everything that happens in Vegas stayes in Vegas! Friends from all over the world could be part of this funfunfun but also romantic and ceremony via webcam!
Photographer and Elvis work great together as a team and knew how to put us into a good light.
Our pink caddillac driver was a local since decades and could tell us interesting background storys about the strip casinos.
All toghether a worthy unforgettable wedding.

“Elvis and the Pink Caddy wedding…soooo much fun!”
Reviewed February 6, 2014
My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary at the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel and renewed our vows. It was a blast! We did the pink caddy wedding package where Elvis drives you into the chapel, and they had the fog machine going and music. It was so exciting! We danced to Elvis singing, who was great by the way. He made the ceremony so much fun! The package is worth the money with the extra fun it brings and your name in lights on the marquee! Everyone was very friendly and professional and it was a great experience. Our guests are still talking about it!
