We at Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel were delighted to read some very positive reviews in August for our Elvis marriage ceremonies on Tripadvisor.com. Admittedly, we had a bit of a giggle when one happy couple wrote they were surprised that Elvis could really sing. Well, WE are not too surprised.
Chapel co-owner and “Founding Elvis,” Ron Decar (above) has a classically-trained voice and over two decades of experience as a principal singer in Las Vegas productions such as the Folies Bergere at the Tropicana Hotel. And, by the way, his rendition of Ave Maria (not as Elvis) for Traditional Wedding packages with an added vocal soloist will leave not a dry eye in the house/chapel.
Roland August (right and just above) adds warmth and charm to his Elvis vocals, and he’s graced over 50 musical, film and theatrical productions from New York City to Los Angeles. Coincidentally, his first big role in New York was as The Pharoah in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” If you’ve seen the show, The Pharoah is really just a barely-disguised version of Elvis, The King of Rock’n Roll! Talk about fate…(Phate?)
Chapel General Manager and oft-times Elvis, Brian Mills (above), has a singing background that includes the lead in the European tour of “Grease” as well as a featured singer on the Las Vegas Strip. Added to those credentials is his experience as vocal director for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. The guy knows his stuff! Whichever Elvis takes care of your vows here at the Viva Las Vegas Chapel, rest assured he is a highly-trained professional, and will give your special day plenty of vocal pizzazz.
And now, a few words from those very nice folks who left Elvis wedding feedback and reviews on TripAdvisor. Enjoy, while we blush!

Had a Elvis wedding in August and had an absolute blast!! Our guests ranged from 19 to 85 and everyone thought the whole thing was fabulous. Right from the easy on-line booking to the complete fulfilment of all our requests, this was a wonderful experience. The most surprising thing (I don’t know why I was surprised!) was that our “Elvis” could really sing! He belted out four songs in superb style, had all the guests up dancing and looked pretty good in the photos too!! If you want this type of wedding (and let’s face it, who doesn’t in Vegas) this was a perfect experience, I cannot think of one bad thing to say. Viva Las Vegas baby!!!

What a great wedding ceremony! I didn’t dream that it would be so much fun. An Elvis in a gold lame suit jacket, a bride and groom thar are driven down the aisle in a pink 1959 Cadillac Coupe de Ville convertible. And music from and fit for a king. It was worthva trip almost half way around the world.
