Las Vegas Weddings in the New Year

Are your days numbered? Are you considering a Las Vegas Wedding in the New Year? When you think of your wedding day, do you think of lucky numbers or do you think of symbolic numbers? Or is it the way it sounds, like 1-1-11. Hey, that makes you number 1!  Or is 1-11-11 a special day for you? We caaaaan accommodate you.

7-7-7 was really the beginning of the over the top number of weddings shared on that day. I was married on 7-4-7 and it was difficult finding a bakery that would accommodate me, due to the influx of 7-7-7 weddings in the city. There were approximately 4500 wedding ceremonies performed on that day in Las Vegas alone!

Did you know that the average human heart weighs 11 pounds? Well, that might make a fine wedding day just because it’s a matter of the heart. Is that where the term sweetheart comes from? Awwww.

New Years day is just around the corner and some have chosen the 1-1-11 date to say it is the beginning, or the entering into, of the New Year together as 1. There you go, there’s that 1 again.

Is it because you are in Vegas that the numbers are significant? Is your lucky number 11 or 1? Do you plan on playing one? With a knick-knack paddy whack on the Roulette table? Whatever your reason, if your Sweetheart says “you’re still the one”, why not make New Years 1-1-11 your special day? Keep in mind ladies… he’ll always remember your anniversary- that’s incentive enough.

So, if it’s a Las Vegas Wedding in the New Year for you? Race to the alter, and $100 will hold your reservation and give you time to put those final touches on your day. Ask your reservationista’ about adding ‘a la-cart items to personalize your wedding celebration.

Best wishes in advance to those of you waiting in the wings, and congrats-to those of you who have booked your wedding. We look forward to serving you. Call us at 702-384-0771 for more information or view our many ( too many to mention) wedding packages at www.vivalasvegasweddings.com in both traditional or theme style weddings. I love to love you baby….

Las Vegas Wedding – A Dream Comes True..

They say it’s your birthday. What better day to have your wedding, than on your birthday? I arrive to pick up my next couple for their Las Vegas Vow Renewal. I had spoken to a lovely chap with a bit of an accent. I had trouble pin- pointing the accent so when I finally met him, I asked… “South Africa” he said. Wow, this is a first for me.  At Viva Las Vegas Weddings we meet couples from all over the globe, so it is always exciting when it’s someplace so far and foreign to me. As we arrive at the Chapel, Leonie is surprised with a welcome greeting on our enormous marquis on the Las Vegas Strip that reads; “Happy Birthday Leonie.”

Johan said it was Leonie’s birthday and she had always dreamed of coming to Las Vegas and having an Elvis wedding. So Johan made Leonies birthday wish come true. What a guy! Johan and Leonie have been married for 27 years and have five (one for each finger) grown sons. Well, that certainly beats “My Three Sons” the television show. What a loving couple they were. Johan said it’s their time now, and they really seem to be living it up. I asked Johan for a marriage tip on how to make it to 27 years. This is something I love asking of Vow Renewal couples I chauffeur. Hey, I need all of the help I can get…I’m working my way towards a blissful 4 myself.

His answer was short but very sweet, he said-“honest true love.” I about melted. It was true, I could see it in both of their eyes from the moment I met them. Leonie said “work at it too.” Boy, I felt as if I had just received a wealth of critical information in just a few beautiful words. Leonie did say,” you endure the salt together too!” Makes me hungry for more, I say pass the salt aaaand the pepper if this is what I look forward to having in my golden years. Leonie and Johan you were a blessing to me and I crown you both Bride & Groom of the week of  The Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel in Fabulous Las Vegas,Nevada. They say it’s your birthday, well I felt like it was my birthday too. Thank you for the gift of tips on how to make it to 27 years!

Are you coming to Las Vegas? Do you, like Johan want to surprise your wife or husband? Give us a call and we will make all of the arrangements for your Vow Renewal, Wedding or Commitment Ceremony. Viva Las Vegas Loves our Military..

The Flag is waving as you drive by The Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel daily. Waving at all those who drive by Las Vegas Boulevard on any given day. Waving at all those who arrive at the Chapel. Come rain or come shine, just like our Soldiers who are giving back for our freedom. It stands stoic and bright. Now you get to wave back from wherever you find yourself reading this blog. It’s waving at you. Our American Soldiers are brave as they sacrifice for us daily. Several months ago I was so honored to chauffeur a wonderful military couple to the Chapel. This is where I find myself in awe…

Our Soldier was here on furlough to marry his Sweetheart, and his unit back in Iraq was able to view his Wedding via our live web cam! This is the type of warm fuzzy I just look up and say thanks for! Technology is certainly an amazing feat. Everytime a Soldier walks through our doors I just quietly think to myself, we are so lucky to be able to serve them in some small way. It never feels like we can ever give back enough, but it certainly is an honor.

Let’s see, where do I begin, to tell a story of how great a love can be? A sweet love story, is this weeks couple of the week.  It’s an Officer who was a gentleman. Rick has been serving our country in the United States Navy since 1982. You are a patriot Rick. His lovely Bride is Sandy. What a gal, she too is quite the catch. Sandy looked absolutely radiant on her wedding day. When Sandy met Rick, it was love at first sight. She commented to me that she told her sister that day, ” I am going to marry that guy,”  and so the love story began. I could feel their love from across the stretch limousine~ Moments like this are just best, when they can be shared. Thanks for sharing with us… Rick & Sandy you are my “Bride Pick of the Week, ” because you made my day too. Many blessings to both of you this Christmas and throughout the New Year.

If you are active Military and are looking for a Chapel with all of the bells and whistles-hold up… you have arrived! Our kiss back to our Military is to waive the Ministers fee for your wedding, just as our flag waves daily for our freedom. Feel free to call us at 702-384-0771 or view our many Wedding options at www.VivaLasVegasWeddings.com.  We are only too happy to serve you.

Your Chauffeuress,

Diana

~ Viva Las Vegas Bride of the Week-November…

Our beautiful Bride of the week comes to us from not only one place, but two. She is originally from England. However, she now resides in Spain. She is a Concierge at a beautiful hotel in Spain. It is an interesting story… Clare has been talking to a Concierge here in one of our luxury hotels in Las Vegas for about a year regarding this day. The what, where’s and how’s had brought her to her final destination here at Viva Las Vegas Weddings!

Thanks to the Concierge at the City Center for her recommendation. Our local Concierge even attended the wedding since they had become friends through their chats online. This is how friendships are made. I  just had to share this unique story~besides that, how gorgeous is Clare with her Prince Arron by her side? Best wishes to you and cheers to you both on making my Bridal couple for the month of November. You look marrrvelous!

Now, with all of that planning…I wonder if Clare knew how terrific our weather was going to be? The high 70’s in November? Why it’s unheard of. However, this brilliant Concierge really did her homework, I am certain she was checking the weather report daily. Lucky guy, lucky gal. They chose the Gazebo Evening Wedding. Italian Cypress and nature surround this lovely Gazebo.Complete with twinkly lights and park style benches, it makes an intimate setting for two, or even fifteen, just lovely. Seeing the Gazebo in person is breathtaking. It is one of my favorite marrying spots because the photography is spectacular in this magical setting.

Happily ever after...

If you are looking….look no further. We have 5 different wedding spots here on sight to either host your number of guests or suit your budget. We look forward to serving you. Visit us at www.vivalasvegasweddings for more information, or just give us a call at 702-384-0771. One of our friendly Reservationistas’ will be happy to book your enchanted evening.

             Au revoir,
